AI Vega on a 2' x 2' x 2' tank...

anyone of you having one sitting on a 2' cube tank ? What's the coverage like?

should be able. as was quoted by seet from RD 5x2x2 needs only 3 unit.

according to specs on ai vega website and info from the menu when i got it, 1 set is made for a area of 2 x 2.

for me i am using on a 2 x 1 x 1 tank so far my LPS and zoas on the sides of my 2 ft tank are doing ok.

Reef Depot have a 2 x 2 x 2 tank set-up with 1 x vega, you may want to check it out.

Alterantive, pop down to The Fish Channel, they recently added more Vega during their renovation.

i recalled my last visit (few weeks ago) they were still using AI SOL on their display tank.

Btw, long time no see.. still remember some many years back, we chiong pasir sir together? with some KL kakis .. haha

It can support 2 by 2 and effectiveness can be manipulated via adjusting the height of the lightset. Vega has a single row of light bulbs where as sol has 2 rows. Sometimes it may not be a bad thing the edge is not being covered as lesser algae issue.
