Filter sock overflow issue

Hey reefers,

Im using 4" filter sock, short 1.. 4get hw long, but ther oni 2 length in the market rite.? Pls correct me if wrg. Mayb after less than 2 wks it wil start overflow after every washing, tis shd nt b the way rite? I was tinking 2 chg it in2 long type, mayb wil solve the prob? Any reefers here gt the same exp & can advise me?

Info needed :

Tank : DE cube 80

Return pump : compact ehiem2000 w/ Full blast

Sock : 4" short type oni use abt 1 mth oni & wash 2 x

Food : Vy seldom feed as nt much corals/LS as tank juz set up abt a mth+

by right filter socks should be washed weekly

Overflow means the sock is clogged up. You need to clean more frequent like what kelvinx3 say- weekly.

Buy at least 2 to interchange.
