taylapong Posted June 5, 2013 Author Share Posted June 5, 2013 Bump! Has anyone tried this method to reef keeping? I find it very counter-intuitive, but that's good cos it does challenge our beliefs. Too often there's so much info (sometimes conflicting), we lose track of why we so certain things. 100% water changes, simple in-tank filter, bare bottom. Any thoughts? resser Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 That article makes mountain out of a molehill. LPS, no fish, barely any nutrients, water change instead of dosing elements. You don't even need to cycle for bacteria. It's like how all of us are running a QT or frag tanks. Hardly counter-intuitive. Water changing like this costs a lot more than dosing.
