My current tank

Hi,

I'm new here in this forum since today and want to introduce my current tank now. I'm not really new in this wonderful hobby, I have marine-tanks already since 1981.
Some Pics of my tank with all ups and downs you can see at my website http://www.shf-net.com/aquarium . There all nice and not so nice is documented what happened with this tank in the last years.

Tank size: 200x80x60 cm
Sump size: 170x60x45 cm (2 parts, first for skimmer, second for all the rest)
Skimmer: ATB "Normal size" with Airstar http://www.aquariumtechnik.at/NormalDE.htm

Current: 2x Tunze 6205 + 2x Tunze 6105 controlled by GHL ProfiLux Plus II Ex

Corals: Mainly SPS with some Tridacna and a view LPS. Not many fish

Biggest "problems": massive Cervera and Hydroid polyps and dont find a way to kill them!

thanks! Yes I also think the equipment is not to bad yet. After all this years of saltwater aquarium and many, many things I bought and tried what not was as good as I hoped, now the Technique is for this tiny little tank good enough to keep my values in optimum scope.

Lightings : Ecotech  Radion XR15 Pro x 2 for Main Display Tank, Inled R80 x 1 for Frag Tank.

Chiller : Dalkin 1hp compressor with build-in drop coil.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

Thanks for the warm welcome here! I just wanted to start here in this community by introducing my own current tank. It is not my first Tank, my last was little bigger (500 x 100 x 100 cm) but after divorce it is not possible to relocate a fix in a house build in Aquarium.

Yes SPS, mussels, sponges are my favorites. The biggest problem here in Europe is, that you don't get specific animals, most dealers have always the same and it is not so often that I come to South East Asia to collect and import my own corals. Additional is the bureaucracy to get CITES and all needed papers a real HORROR.

But I hope to find new friends here and also can give bits of my experience to others who may need it.
