Hi guys, I'm looking at purchasing some petroleum jelly to fill up the tiny air pockets on my piping that is creating micro bubble back to my

display tank.

Appreciate if bro's out here could advise me on the type and brand if you have use before to be on the safe side to my occupant.

Thanks in advance

Bro,

For our hobby usage, Petroleum Jelly is only use to temporary seal and find out which joints is not sealed properly but cannot permanently seal joints.

PJ can also be applied on our fingers when gluing PVC pipes or sealing glass with silicon. Upon applying, your glue or silicon will not stick to our fingers and we can smoothen the joints better.

For you case, if you want to permanently seal the joints, you still need PVC glue.

If I were you:

  1. I will first use PJ to determine where exactly is the joint that is not glued properly
  2. Once I know which joint, I will then off the return and apply PVC Glue on the outside area of the joint and let it cure to several hours.

;)

Roger that. Guess i will do that on my water change and tank maintenance so to fully utilize the time while waiting for it to cure.

Many thanks for your kind assistance once again.
