Top up: use fresh water wth de-chlorinator

Saltmix: use fresh water, bubble it for 24hrs, add de-chlorinator, salt, stir till salt dissolved. :)

Everything's sold. Back in 2yrs time.

If I am not mistaken, I think you guys meant to say, bi-monthly (every 2 weeks) instead of bi-weekly (twice a week). These are American terms. I also do 10% fortnightly (UK term) water changes.

hmm... that explains y i nv realli like english

anyways, i change mine 20% every 2 weeks.... ;)

hope this is ok liao :)

dont need de-chlorinator if u bubble it for 24hrs. there will be absolute ZERO chlorine as a result.

Considering to switch from changing 15% of water every 2 weeks to 5% every week.

When do u guys check the CA and ALK level ? After a water change to do a baseline testing before dosing any chemical additives?

Seem like the Seachem Prime is a good choice for dechlorinator, remove chloromine and toxin substances.

Dosing 1ML for every 40L !!
