Anemone Moving To Low Light Area

Hi,

my anemone has been sitting fine for a week on a rock when he suddenly decided move around the tank. i realize his movement is generally in low light area such as below rocks or to the rear of the tank which is block from light. Could this be because of my lighting being too strong since my tank is only 1 ft tall.
