Usually they are doing fine for a few days looking healthy and eating well. Then suddenly they stopped eating and noticed they started passing out long white string from anus. Gouldian Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 There are 2 reasons why they have long white feces: Poor adjustment, acclimating or shipping - Entice the fish to feed with quality food and it will recover Internal parasites - Can be due to protozoan or worms, remove into separate QT tank for treatment (anti-protozoal and deworming medications).
