went to aquarama yesterday and i got this for myself.

a brand that i never hear before but it was recommended by Vincent.

as i was abit tight with the $$$(due to the new tank) i really have to consider very well in choosing a skimmer.deltec was in my mind at first and they are giving good discount when i was there.Skimz is giving 27% off but most of the display are sold. BM curve 7 was next due to the good price but i was not convince with the pump.went on to purchased this and this is the result went i got back home today.

The result of this skimmer not bad. Look like the new oval design too. Nice shape.

design look very similar to the skimz skimmer but this is with an aquabee pump and at a very affordable price(a display piece) so no choice take out my cash and pay liao.dont need think too long.hahaha.

i cant advised you guys on the price(selling price) coz when i was there they(i think they are from China) are packing the goods.they gave me a price to clear the display at a price i cant resist.maybe they are to lazy to bring it back.vincent did say that he did bring in this brand of skimmer but the model that i bought he do not have anymore stock for it but from what i know normally a skimmer with an aquabee pump will cost at least $500.

I bought 1 skimmer with aquabee 2000 pump too at below 300. But later gave up cos the impeller keep breaking.

update:

did a quick a maintenance today and added more sand. I overlapped the existing white aragonite sand with 2 and the half bags of 5lbs caribsea ocean direct pacific black sand. Also managed to install tom's aqualifter with soundtech digital timer to the reservoir.
