after having success with my first 2 tank previously(boyu 20g - and system 45 - ).

i managed to convinced the wife and was given approval to get myself a brand new tank.

i've contacted one of the sponsors here and invited him to my place for some discussion over my new tank.

this is what i've sketched and intended to have and hopefully everything will turn out smoothly.

here's the pic:

display tank will be 2ftx2ftx2ft with a 2.5ft cabinet to house the chiller in it.there will also be a reservoir beside the display tank hidden in the cabinet.cabinet will be in glossy white finish.

equipment:

return pump - eheim 1260 2400l/h

skimmer - H&S skimmer 110-F2000 with aquabee 2000(2nd hand from a reefer here)

lights - pharos wireless led 90w

top up - aqualifter with digital timer

wavemaker - tunze 6015(recycle from my system 45)

fr - tlf phosban reactor with eheim 600(rowaphos)

chiller - hailea 150A with eheim compact 1000(temporary)

im still running my system 45 and will be transferring everything into this new tank.

tank maker said that tank will be ready by end of next week.

will appreciate your inputs and comments and will update again once the tank is here.

is your tank dual view? I see from the door, you indicated 2 door front and back.

I think you may have a better ideal from this.

I actually misread your info, since you already have the tank made, is there a pillar build between the sump and chiller? Was afraid your wood may warp over long time at the point between main tank and auto-top up area. If there is warranty cover for both cabinet and tank, then it should be ok.

Door will be only be on 1 side.there will be ventilation holes at the back for hot air from the chiller to go out and there will be a pillar in the middle of the bottom cabinet.it was recommended by the tank maker after his final sketch.bro is that your tank??

i was thinking your auto top up was very cramp? u are hanging your lights or using hood?

Ive got both stand and hanging kit but i also thinking of doing a hanging hood so that maybe i can add t5.just like a thread here from a hongkong guy.if im going to keep sps.

tank is here but the back top up tank(small reservoir)/cabinet not ready due to carpenter miscalculation.hahahaha.

the fans 2pcs were installed (1 blowing air in and the other blowing hot air from the chiller out)

how is the heat in the cabinet? there shld be another openning for better air exchange.

u shld hv done thr cabinet door integrate with egg crate concept. this would skip the fan.

Its quite warm but Can feel the fan blowing out the hot air and im lucky that it is facing the walkway to the entrance of my house.i need to save space and need it to look neat so what i do now is that i leave 1 of the door open 24/7 and will close it only if i have visitors.that way it wont be that hot in there.
