Hi all,

Bought an Emperor (juvenile) fish about 4 days ago, when it arrived, the blue rings on its body were very vibrant, but the fish only peck on rocks and ate very little... since yesterday, i've notice the colour of the fish seems to be fading, the blue parts seems to be becoming whitish, but it doesn't seems like white spots and my fish doesn't seem to be rubbing itself on rocks....

Can someone pls advise on wat might be the problem, i'm experiencing high nitrates..... is dat the problem?

Not nitrates..might be due to stress from other factors. Check your pH. Is it being bullied by any other fishes? Try improving it's diet. Blend your own recipe with fresh seafood. ;)

Always something more important than fish.
