MH bulb 14k not as bright as 6.5k?

i just bought a new mh bulb 14k. it is more blue than my 6.5k old bulb. however it don seems to be brighter. is ti normal or i have been cheated. pls help me to clear my boubt. thx...

it is quite common that as u move up in colour temperature, 6.5K to 14K, u lose quite abit of light intensity...dun worry, you are not cheated

Hi Sunny,

If you have spent some time here reading up, you will realise that as the temperature of the bulb goes up , the bulb gets dimmer and so does the PAR.....

I think we recently have quite a number of such threads .....

Do a search and you would have your doubts clarified.....
