Hon, kwangs(was there last nite) & OP is out as well. i got the last 3 bags from halequin last week- dunno if they restocked. Got the remainder from Pac marine showroom at blk D- just by chance at the same time as wedgee(but they have stock from warehouse).

everybody wanted $10 per 10kg bag.

Well, I went to Sea life today. They have #1 sand... but its errr... $16/10kg !! They have LAST 3 packets.

Talk about opportunistic bloodsucking....

Maybe its a conspiracy; they know there'll always be people trying to do up a nice tank for CNY (like moi), and as the date closes, people gets desperate and bid the price upwards (a little like COE)

Then comes the supplier and LFS comes in, they'd come together and decide to restrict supplies, driving prices even further up....

Now comes the BEST part: People will happily march into the LFS with their ang pow money to splurge more money on lifestock and equipments.....

Someone better stop me and my conspiracy theories before I get arrested or eternally banned from LFS

Yeah... I didn't buy it. It was selling at $8 at Marine Image... but they went out of stock as well, just today. But Reef Aquaris is selling at $10 and they have like about 4 or 5 packs left.

I have a strange feeling its a conspiracy too... <_<

Bought 30kg of #1 sand from petmart ($6 for 10kg) yesterday..their stock just came in yesterday..

U can try them..the guy told me over the phone he brought in something like 30 bags..so more than enough to go around.

I got my dad to buy for me cos he happened to be near there..can you imagine my luck?
