o ya anyone got use any output pump other then the default atman pump given..

I had the same thought right from the begining. However, must wait till the shop bring in the fittings. Else, only the supplied atman pumps will fit the unions supplied!

;)

15 fishes need feeding. Some food needs to sink for the scooters to get them. The hermits too, the crabs too and my favourite jawfish too.

Not to mention just now..just fed my black suncoral one whole cube of mysis.

Always something more important than fish.

hmm well you dont need the actually fitting ma..

you can use big enough pipe and then connect then together and tighten it...

just like how you ppls connect your pump to our input pipe that go back to your tank...

Hi, I must beg to differ, you've probably got to see the unions provided to get what I mean. ;)

Hi FuEl,

Just bot a small marine sources skimmer yesterday. Where do u keep the water level for effective skimming ...it tend to stay at the upper part of neck. I tried to tune the water level to the middle but not possible even with opening more of the air valve.

And do u raise the skimmer since it is quite short ? :thanks:

hi.. Nic A Jon,

I have PM you

FYI- new skimmer need about 3days to break in, see how THICK the skimmate collected after 3days and you may try to rise if you find it too low.

Mine took 3 days to break in too! Just be patient. Maybe you can open up the water outlet more in order to lower the water level in the neck of the skimmer.

By the way Octopus, when is the skimmer pump parts arriving? Also, its using the Atman 105 for the large skimmer right?

Thanks!
