SRC Member angmoh Posted June 25, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted June 25, 2013 Can someone please switch on the aircon.......chill the God has responded to you by giving us a hailstorm ------------------------------------- Anyway, i have diagnosed that our brother staromsa has kena "new-reefer" syndrome. Symptoms: Eager, excitement, difficulties in reading and understanding (would not be able to see/read and understand old-birds' advice) Treatment: $$$$$ Chances of recovery: 90%, after been through the failures and hardships I guess this is a typical illness that most of us had been through. We prefer to learn through the hard ways rather than a smooth-sailing reefing experience. How many of you actually cycled the tank for 1-2 months when you first started reefing? staromsa
Dear SRC, This is my latest FTS as requested by bro James. Pictures were taken as of 26th June 2013. Was really hardworking this weeks trying to battle the hair algae. So with all the seniors advise and suggestions given, i decided to go all out. This are the results. I don't hope to disappoint the seniors once again... So lets take a look at some pictures. Ohhh , btw please excuse the very "colorless tank " due to the shitty phone camera which doesn't seem to be able to capture the colors. Cheers. SRC Member james72 Posted June 28, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted June 28, 2013 How old is your tank? I see stn on some of the sps? But it doesnt look like beyond hope. Stick to your weekly water change with detritus siphoning and dont dose anymore additives other than the usual kH, Ca, Mg. Give your tank time to mature and refrain from adding any more fishes till end of year.
