wat do i require?

now that i;ve set up my new tank (still undergoing the ANN cycle).need experts' advise on what are the necessary items i require to maintain a healthy tank.the following are all that i had bought so far.i saw items such as Kalkwasser, Calcium Plus, Rid Rust, Carbon Plus etc etc. wat are the necessary ones? i am trying to cut cost, had already spent $600 on my set-up. or is there any threads in SRC that will help. pls advise......

1) a bottle of trace element

2) a bottle of coral feed

now my tank is running its ANN cycle. i got myself the following:

1) 3ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft tank + 2ft sump

2) using a DSB and only about 15-20kg of liverocks (getting more liverocks soon)

3) jebo skimmer

4) 3ft ATMAN PL light set with 1 Actinic blue and 1 white

5) a clip on fan, bigger than a PC fan

6) a bottle of trace element

7) a bottle of coral feed

should be all that i haf now.....would that be enuf description?

when u add more liverocks the cycling restarts again

think u need a better skimmer

i c that u have a bottle of coral feed means u want to keep corals... your lights is not enuff ...

depends how effective the fan is ...

u need more test kits eg amonia ,nitrite ,nitrate , ph ,kh ,

7) a bottle of coral feed

if u just started, i suggest u keep fishes. only after u have experience and ur fishes dun die on you, den u can proceed to corals

weipro would be good and affordable investment if u're just going for FOWLR tank. then your coral food can save for future use. get like half to 1 yr experience b4 going to corals. PL light is good enough for now .

fan is not really neccessary or evp.rte would very high. jus add ice when temp. is above 30c since fish only so nvrm.

huh...must wait till half to 1 year??? Honestly for me I couldnt wait!! hahahaha

IMO, I think can start off with some buttons and mushroom.... These are more hardy! For me.....4 months since I started....my 2 footer is almost flooded with corals!! hahaha

Trial and Error la..... but do log on to SRC..... (wonder got commission for selling that)
