Question about mushrooms

Do mushrooms "roam" around on a LR? One day I saw this mushroom in my tank fully extended... turn of the light.. shrivelled up as usual. Turn on light... fully extended again - - SO it's fine.

Next day... it's gone! Do they migrate or something?

Keep a lookout for underwater gnomes. They love collecting mushrooms.

Crabs more suitable... Once one of my yumas kanna drag in to the crab hole by the crab... heng... i saw it otherwise die sia...

I hear sometimes they uproot themselves (usually a sign of stress & unhappiness) and get drifted out by currents to hopefully land in a better spot.

Sometimes upon budding, they do this.

Crab eat mushroom? oh my.. i got several crabs in my tank right now.. let's hope they dun get toooo hungry

I lost 4 frags of ricordeas over 4 days, 1 per days ....and on the fifth day, I found a big hole on one of my bigger frags....must be the works of crab!

cannot be melting bec melting should happen together, and not 1 frag per day!

Mushrooms propogate through splitting, and/or 'uprooting' itself and letting the current carry them to a better (at time worse) spots.

A hobbyist in the forum, whose Ricordeas actually moved from the top of the rock where it orginally located, to the side of the rock, just to avoid the searing UV from DE MH. They are pretty much mobile

Thanks guys for enlightening me... at first thought they were like land mushroom... fixed in one spot forever! Or...don't tell me they uproot themselves and hop to a better location too! hahaha....
