hi guys,

Introducing to u guys a once GREAT fish that has escape our shores for a long long time...

Here comes the Vanuatu Mystery wrasse...

1st off.. im going to post pic of the more COMMONLY seen mystery from hawaii which is deep purple or purple with lines which is commonly mistaken for vanuatu varient.

This is the most common seen..

This is one with stripes but purple body.

This is the BEAUTIFUL and gorgeous red body + white stripe Mystery wrasse from vanuatu..

Extremely rare deepwater morph of mystery wrasse from Tahiti.

It is more golden yellowish in color and is caught at depth over 300 ft!

As a comparison, our normal mystery wrasses are collected at 100 ft depth or shallower.

This mystery wrasse is so rare tat thr is only one piece or two pieces caught by Rufus Kimura and his team.

Fish in Japan.

yes they will.. also depends on ur tank size and many other factors...

mystery IMHO... is a 70% agressive fish... so do ur due dillegence.

Vanuatu Whitebar mystery is apparently quite common in HK vanuatu shipment.

When they have vanuatu shipment, they will have whitebar mystery.

Perhaps those who are visiting HK keep a lookout for it and bring one home!

Whitebar mystery is now unobtainable in Sg because no LFS carries Vanuatu shipment anymore.

Shown below is a big whitebar mystery in HK Sealife Vanuatu shipment this week. Compare it to the length of the fingers, it is really huge!
