Ok... Its entirely my fault. I got a lemon peel angel last wk. i know they have a 5050 chance of nipping at corals... But i thought i will try it out. So far... He has eaten half on my acan, decimated my cynarina and starting to attack my gonio, blasto and pipeorgan... I tried yesterday to get it out with a breeder box with slidedown door... Every other fish went in for the mysis that i put inside, except the lpa... Im getting desperate looking at the state of my lps... The problem with this fish is, he bolts behind the rock whenever im near the tank, when i leave, he will come out and nip at the corals.. and my tank is small that i can only put the trap near the surface and... The lpa always hangs ard at the bottom... Tearing up the tank is not an options as my corals are stacked on the rocks. Draining the water? The lpa will hide behind the rocks which i can reach... Its a pity as the lpa is a very pretty specimen, perfect finnage and size... Any professional fish catcher can come help me get it out!?? U can have him....

bro, for me i tried feeding regularly (2 weeks plus) inside a container. so the fishes got used to it. and then i swap the container for a trap and the bugger swam in as usual.

i also have successes with the lights out method like what vtec said, but since urs sleeps at the back, it's gonna be a challenge.

i also have tried using a barb-less fish hook and it works...

hope you get your fish soon, i can feel your frustration...

Thanks bro... I think hes still getting used to the tank and only eats the mysis that i turkey blasted into his hideout... Maybe when hes out and feeding with the rest, it will be easier to catch him... Hopefully by then my corals will survive his torment....
