Which LPS is clownfish most likely to host?

Hey guy, im getting a pair of clownfish soon and i hope that they will host on a coral.. but not on an anemone since my tank is stil new..

Im looking at corals like elegance tip, bubble coral and hammer corals.. which one is easy to keep in my 1ft cube tank and clownfish will more likely host on it?

Long tentacle plate coral. Elegance coral. Hammer, frogspawn coral. No guarantee though.

Thanks for the replies, i prefer Hammer or elegance though.. which one is easier and which one wont grow too big for my 1ft cube?

Think their requirement are similar - moderate water flow and bright - to moderate lighting.

Elegance stings can get rather nasty, I think stick with Euphyllia sp. like frogspawn and hammers better

Thanks for all ur advice! I too prefer hammer more.. Scared elegance too long may sting my zoas.. And what if I have a coral that got stung? It'll just melt away? Hammer do sting too right?

i just got my pair of false clown! so damn cute! another question.. meanwhile i don't intend to add any hammer corals yet.. probably 1 week later as i do not want to stock up too quickly.. so when i only add 1 hammer coral will both the clown host together or will they fight for it?

Not all clown will accept the hammer as a host. If both of them accept it then they may be some fight but is good to let them develop into a pair. The female queen have to be identified.

Actually when you get a few LPS, the clowns might move from one LPS to another. My clowns appear to be frickle-minded, Thats my experience.

My clown fish never host any corals. Always beside glass and rocks. It's Singapore tank breed. That's why like that???
