s0n1c87
I have a large piece of liverock inside my 2.7fts tank. When I use touchlight shine can see gt creature alike inside those holes. Shine to take a clearer look but they hide even deeper so can't get a clear look. I always heard a knocking sounds coming from my tank. I suspect there is mantis shrimp inside. Remove the whole piece of rock is not possible too big alr. Is there any trap to capture them.?
hfabs
I empathize with you. I had the same problem months back. I tried all sorts of ways like putting in a trap but the mantis shrimp was too smart. So in the end, bobian I had to remove all my rocks to locate the mantis shrimp and so be it coz I had the intention of re-arranging my setup. I managed to catch it and in fact it was a pretty red thing. I put it in my sump and feed it with cut up prawns. Didn't see him lately and dont know if it survived the sump environment. Good luck : ) Quote Description of my humble tank Size - 4 x 2 x 2.5 ft Protein Skimmer - Reef Octopus OCTX 160 Return Pump - Germain Eheim pump 3400 litres/hr Chiller - Hailea Chiller 300A Wave Maker - Ecotech Marine MP40W Lighting - Solarmax 4ft MH 2 x 150 watts & 2 x T5 lights Date of Commission of Tank - 22 Dec 2010
