Fauna Marin new color elements

Hi fellow reefers, want to ask whether anybody started using this & any reviews? Have read from other forums that they can notice some improvements after only 2 doses. And also how is the dosing regime like, daily or weekly, how many ml of these additives to tank volume. Thanks in advance.

i've been dosing only the blue element since DEC 12, so far my blue sps are coloring up nicely. Not tried the the red and green though.

I really have to give many recommendations to Fauna Marine's products! I am almost exclusively on their products and considering my tank is only setup in Nov and only started proper sps stocking in January, the colours and growth of the sps are I'm never a fan of single brand usage but FM really rocks! I have since ditched most of my other products and converted to theirs. Other then my biopellets, carbon, CA, mg kh powder and Phosban, all other additive comes from FM. Dosage instructions are available on the bottle and if I did not remember wrongly, you can dose weekly for the colour elements. I dose 3 times a week instead just to be on the safe side. However, from my best understanding the colour elements should only be used when u achieve low low nutrients level... Have fun! Btw I'm not affiliated to FM in anyway

I got mine already this afternoon. The 3 color elements, ultra Amin & reef vitality. After adding the reef vitality, can see SPS polpys extension within an hour. I was surprised, impressed & disappointed. Surprised by the immediate result, impressed by this product & disappointed on why i did not get them earlier.

I using ultra Amin, colour elements, minS, organics and balling trace and ultralith... Basically the full system except the zeolite reactor la... Honestly so far so good... Like what I see... Gg to wack the reef vitality soon see how it response... Basically already fell in love with FM Liao... Haha...

FM product is good. I like the colour elementcfor purple/blue it really bring out the colour more.

The base of my SOTRM have more green now, & more green on my 'slimy green'. My lime green acoprora colors also improves a bit & my green monti explodes with the green color. For the red, no effects, at least no effects on my reverse sunset milli, maybe the milli have not fully recover & no effects on my pink birdnest. For the blue, very slight improvements on my blue digi. I dose weekly. Now changing dosing 3 colors on different days. Also weekly. However all SPS polys became longer extenstion due to addition of reef vitality, as posted on 20th Feb. After 2 months, all SPS became more 'puffy' with their polys extenstion & they look so nice with their polys swinging with the wave, as if they are saying 'hello' to you. No photos as I don't like photography, no good camera & my SPS corner not really yet, in a mess with orange & purple expoy all over the live rocks.}

For blue and purple you should get arco it will show very good improvement on the colour.

I am using color element for about a week, mine blue and purple most obvious, improving. Pink bn more intense, green not much effect, green still pale. PE no change. Happy with the result so far. Daily dose instead of weekly. Dose everything together. Hope the color will get more intense!

Bro Sunnymac, you have a point there. Daily dosing could be more effective than weekly. But Bro Kakani says will cause fish to have ich due to high potassium level? Is it possible?

Im also on the FM camp now lol. What attracted me specially to the color elements is what is written in the description that the product was developed using corals in LED lit environmental conditions which is good for my led lit tank if at all there's any truth to it. I've been dosing reef vitality, color elements and ultra amin for almost 3 weeks now but has not seen significant color recovery. Im dosing the color elements twice a week in between reef vitality dosing. I know it's too soon to expect improvements but im positive im gettig there.

I spread the amount across a week, so don think it will over dose, no ich problem on my tangs so far. anyway i do about 40 percent of water weekly to prevent any chemical from over accumulating. Just to update, pe improve, color improve most on blue and pink, green still not much effect. Prata bleach and I suspect is due to it, swift prata to shaded area and slowly coloring up. Growth of sps improve too. So far find it not bad but not magical though.
