Anyone have lobang for EBallast for T5?For 24w,39 w and 54w T5 tubes.

The price is for how many watts one... I need 54w one... BTW any idea whether they sell waterproof T5 endcaps....

I used the elbiru 2x36-40watts ballast previously, the ballast burned the electrode ends of the T5 and a single ballast cannot light 2 tubes at once. Maybe I'm unlucky :rolleyes:

IMO, Osram Eballast is the recommanded ballast for ATI T5 as the wattage fits the bulb perfectly. 39W EBallast for 39W ATI bulb. Instead of the Ebiru which is a range of wattage from 36 to 40w which might shorten the lifespan of the bulb itself (overdrive or underdrive).

got mine from Sinter b4 CNY at $60, bcos other don't have stock, must wait for 3 weeks. most shops don't stock this eballast. shih... too xx! :angry:

i use normal endcap

:D try this kisptrading.com cheap buy or viclite.com price below $50 got delivery somemore. :D

Hi guys .. i think I found an alternative.. which is using a electronic starter. This electronic starter have a 2 sec warm start just like the osram eballast. This e-starter will be used with a normal 40watts ironcore ballast.

The e-starter will cost abt $14 and the ballast abt $4 or so.

Bro BarraCuda,

I think is not a good alternative although very much cheaper.

The which heat is from the iron core ballst.So amount of heat

generated might be the same as normal FL setup.

EBallast make use of electronics so less heat generated hence

less loss of energy.

I will still opt for EBallast
