I use about 200ml of vinegar for 10l of water, soak for 2-3 days and remove from scrubbing.

how long should i leave the pump running in water/vinegar mix to remove calcium deposit? and what is the ratio to mix vinegar and water?

tks.

I didn't mix with water. Soak the pump with vinegar in pail. Overnight, remove the pump rinse with water. You will observe most Ca deposit will hv gone or detach..

Get 5 liter bottle cheaper ~4 gold coin..

You can recycle used vinegar. Using filter bag and funnel to remove the dirts & residual. I kept mine more than 2 years.

Cheers and Happy Reefing..

I used the commercial packing of Heinz - buy from my friend who owns a restaurant. Vinegar is commonly used to wash and disinfect kitchen.

To clean more thoroughly. Some calcium deposit bond some part of the equipment together, unable to open cover to clean. It could build up inside moving/ rotating parts also, causing failure or efficiency to drop over time. Some juz dun like & wanted to clean very cleaned. Some re sharp & injure u.
