I recall seeing Ah Beng (Pasir Ris Farm) has many dry rocks which are packed in big plastic bags lying in the shop. Many... You can call them to enquire.

Why use dead rock?

Better to use live rock!!!???

Live rock use 4 cycling maybe...scaping use dead rock at least can epoxy them 2gether..

Does dead rock need any cycling? Going to get a new set to rescape . Current dead rock all throw away as infest wif algae and I had clean up the main tank and remove all the sand as intent not to put anymore. Sump tank water maintain did not touch while cleaning up the main. Amost 70% water change.

I tink u need some time 4 de bacteria 2 grow on de dead rock...but how much will bacteria bloom I do not know..Dan will make ur whole tank cloudy..if not slowly add 1 by 1?

Ah beng selling $20 per pack of dead rocks. Mostly big pieces inside.

just came back from the jalan kayu marine shop. they had some liverock sunbathing. some are quite dry out and sone are ptobably out of water couple of days only. bought a few pcs and the uncle said usually the dead live rock go fast.
