kanegan
Today was suppose to mark a very special day for me. This is the first time I am getting a brand new tank. Made just for me. All my previous & current tanks were pre-owned. So it is with great anticipation that I waited for this day. The tank set has arrived and I am waiting for curing of the piping BUT I am not celebrating. Why? My brand new custom made cabinet was delivered damaged. Should I turn a blind eye and curse my bad luck?

Anchorman
Hi bro, imo you can make claims against the tank maker either repair all the defects or demand a discount of the tank price if u can accept such defects. Btw, u should not have made full payment in this case. Have u? kanegan
Hi all, Thanks for the comments. I hope you understand that it is not advantageous for me to discuss anything about my tank maker while we are in negotiations. Let us just say that they are being responsive and responsible at this time. Since final verdict is still out, I prefer not indirectly inflict any damages to their reputation. kanegan
Update: My cabinet was replaced with a newly made one but with slightly different specs. The sump tank couldn't fit and had to be replaced too. Dust has finally settled on the whole tank issue and cycling is in process. Hope to start sharing more soon.
