Why does my damsel shake ite tail to a new comer?

Hi

I just bought some fishes and my 4 stripped and Domino damsel start shaking its tail in front of the new comer. Just bought a golden damsel, blue tang and bi color benny from Coral Farm.

Really nice fishes there!! All sort of nice and rare tangs!! But cant find AT!! hahahaha

Anyway, does anybody has such encounter??

they are trying to fight and ask the other intruder to go away. often seen my fishes do that

maybe it's their way of saying "hi" and greeting the newcomers? haha

wave tails, more like saying byebye. maye they r about to muder the newcomers, so wave byebye to them

IME with Domino Damsel personally. It's a warning of it's territory. After warning had been given, it will start to attack.

hmmm.....maybe you guys are right! But to me it seems like a friendly wave!....

To elaborate..... the domino basically swims very near to the newcomer....backwards with the tail very near to the newcomer....then shake its tail. Interesting action.....strange....so far no fight....instead the fight is between my blue spotted damsel and the bi color benny!!sigh! Really big fight.....

Damsels are a big no-no in my opinion... too much trouble....
