Hi all,

I am trying to buy equipment to set up my marine tank.

Need advise on the brand/model for skimmer and chiller to get to support the 322 + sump with a combined volume of about 400 litres.

Tank is to be equipped for medium load (probably 2-3 tangs and some other smaller fishes and mixed reef of LPS (mainly) and SPS (after tank matured)).

Budget-wise looking at around $150 for skimmer and $250 for chiller. All probably need to get pre-owned (aka 'used') items from Marketplace.

Kindly let me know if budget is reasonable too.

perhaps the bubble magus nac 3.5/reef octopus 150 and a hailea 1/4 hp can fit the bill.

I not sure if NAC 3.5 is sufficient. Saw some forummers using NAC 7 for 322 tanks!

Chiller at 1/4HP looks ok.

Just my opinion reading up and learning from other reefers.

I just sold my Grotech HEA150 skimmer for only $90 with feeder pump and a aquanaut skimmer for $50. So I believe you have good chance of sourcing here.

Ya. Missed your sales. Hope to get within budget for a reasonably good skimmer and a chiller here to start my marine tank.
