Recently gotten 2 sets of AI vega with wireless control. Will try to do a product review and maybe do a comparison with radion. Will place them side by side for better comparison. Tank size is 4x2x2. currently using 2 x radion and 6 tubes ATI power module. Post this thread to push myself abit.......

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture.

Lightings : Ecotech  Radion XR15 Pro x 2 for Main Display Tank, Inled R80 x 1 for Frag Tank.

Chiller : Dalkin 1hp compressor with build-in drop coil.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel.

Looking forward to your review.

I am now using 2 x AI Sol and am considering adding 1 more Sol to my current tank 4 x 2.5 x 2.5. I find I need 3 Sol to cover my tank. ;)

Thinking of getting one set of vega to support by my 4x39w T5 fixtures, anyone knows if its enuff for coverage, mine is 3ft wide tank.

Are u keeping sps? Able to sustain the color and growth ?

Kept a few frags, I did not used the aclimation mode when i set up and my sps base colours bleached but polyp colours remains. Its now about a month and base colours start to comes back.

If you intend to keep light demanding sps edge to edge, top to bottom, I will suggest 2 vega. You can pop by some of the sponsor such as Madpetz and The Fish Channel to have a better feel.

No worries. Yeah i have pop by both and see in person but just curious is it able to sustain lighting needs for SPS as the one in display at Fish Channel is more of a mix reef rather than a full SPS tank.

Pardon my slowness. First i will touch base on the set and packaging. The AI and wireless controller come in slim and simple packaging. It is also well protected. Love the simplicity. Tried the recent upgrade on the wireless controller with no sweat.

Why it took so long? Was thinking on how to go about doing the DIY mounting.....attached will the method to mount the radion and AI side by side. Still fall short on some bars.....will try to expedite....

How is the result compare with competitor of same spec?
