Common clown

Just bought 2 common clown 3 days ago. feed them with flake food but they didnt want to eat. am i feeding the wrong food? What food should i feed them? Beside this, my 2 common clown are seem to be restless. they keep on swim swim siwm and never stop. They only swim in one location. Is it normal? pleae help, thanks

hi just to share my expirence, i started off feeding my clowns pellets which floats on the surface and they dun seem to see it... afterwhich i changed to the sinking type and they never stop eating since

my clowns usually swim in one location too as it's agaist the current... my expirence is marine fish love swimming against currents hope this help

I had 1 common clown that did not eat my food for quite sometime and not too long ago it started eating my flake food..(Maybe it was really hungry)..But it has been eating ever since..

And they do seem to love to swim against the current

I think all clown have their own character. My true clown dun take those pellets one, even i starve them for 2 days then i throw in pellets, he took it, and then spit it out like shit food. Grrrr, I starve him for another half day, ffed him again with pellet, same thing.

No choice, now i everyday feed those frozen myrsis shrimp to him. he happy happy. troublesome bugger but so cute can be forgiven lah.

OIC.... Then, my clown should be normal lo... they started to eat flake food liao... maybe their are too hungry... hehe

Yah mine don't really like to swim to the surface to grab food.. that's why I have my DIY floating food ring to hold the flakes till they become damp enough and sink....

haha, the clownfishes IMO are tasting e pellets, mine spit it out...then after a while...they eat it up... dun gif up!

After some observation..I notice they spit out the pellets cause its too big for them..So i try to get the smaller pieces for mine..If not they keep spitting ans swallowing..

just dropped sone flake food inside my tank and observed my clown for a moment. Found that my clown only eat food near to them... my clown is too lazy to look for food

Should i off my power head and hang on filter while i am feeding them?
