How to eliminate hairy crab in a nano?

Hi guys I recently added. Piece of live rock in my nano, still cycling... I didn't do a full 100% cure and turn out there's two small hairy crabs.. Any idea how to get rid of these? I tries using chopsticks but to no avail. Any natural predators that feed on these? Cheers:)

I was the natural predator I guess. I took the rock out and dip it.

Use essence of chicken bottle, place a parwn meat in it, place e trap in a slanted angel and let e trap do it's work.

yeah best way is to trap them...improvised traps...I used drinking bottle cut half way..put shrimp meat in...they come out at night to feed...if u got fishes sleeping in rocks..they will try to grap/eat fishes so good to get rid of them fast

Heard octopus can do the job.. end of the day catch the octopus.. but octopus will hunt small fish too..

But still I guess the small glass cup with bait still the best option

If you do get the octopus, be sure to have a tight lid. They are known to be great escape artists.

I m going to try this method. But i tink my shrimp eats MP as well. How?

Use a bottle with market prawn inside to trap the crab. I trapped mine and he is a fat hairy one.

i just did the trap yesteray. we cut the MP into smaller bits. slant a little. the cleaner shrimp i tink stole it. Morning when we woke up the cup was empty and there is no crab or worm inside. Do we use whole MP or half a MP?
