how do u plan on maintaining this tank without skimmer?

Change water weekly... if newly startup, means u gonna change more often until ur tank goes auto pilot.

how to know it is auto pilot? Is it when there is no more diatoms or algae?

Thanks bro. The cement, does it leech anything into the water?

Do you need to leave it in water for sometime before use or can use straight away after it sets?

leave it in water at least a week.

Some updates.. have changed to ball valve control.No more air bubbles n grobbling water sound..

Tear down my reflector as its too strong on the led lightings.

Sure.. my tank just started blooming.. Pls dont expect a big tank.. its a 1 feet shallow tank. Design looks like 4 feet type.. LOL
