FR needed?

Hi, Just wondering if an FR is absolutely neccessary? are there any other options?

Nothing is absolute, most probably you need one

Hi depends on what kind of marine keeping u want,best to have an FR,

But there is few ways to maintain ur PO4 levels.Eg:liquid po4 remover or

Lanthanum cloride,algae scrubber and etc....my two cents.

Like what bro said, depend on what u wanna keep, a lot of time its good to have but may not be necessary for ur setup...

Many options available to substitute the purpose of the FR, but as usual, u have to give and take as some of these options maybe cumbersome, not cost effective, etc.
