2 Feet Tank: (Decom Feb 2015)
-Lightings : Pharos LED light 90W with wireless controller
-Chiller : Arctica 1/10HP with H2Ocean Flow Pump 2000

-Wavemaker : Vortech MP10ES
-Skimmer : Bubble Magus NAC 3.5

-Return Pump : Eheim Compact 3000
-Reactor – TLF150 (Mod) with NP Biopellet
-Reactor – TLF150 with Rowaphos

Hahaha...dun really look pro yet due to some mistakes make during the process of constructing. Will continue to improve the skill and plan for next future project if any...lol!

Not for faint hearted. I still have that feeling like acrylic will...... ( better dont mention).. for now stick to glass.

Glass tank will also la if not constructed properly...! So it's not the matter of glass or acrylic used but the skill and thickness of wall of the tank built.

You can apply a layer of Weldon #16 or Acrifix 192 along all corners like applying silicone on glass tank if feel unsecure la... :lol:

5*2.5*2(LED only)

Eheim return 1 * pump

1 HP Daikin compressor with cooling coil
2 Jebao OW40, 1 ecotech MP40,
1X6085 Tunze wm,

1 CURVE 7 Skimmer

  1 DIY 80 led control by Bluefish mini 

1 radion XR30W G2, 2 Radion XR15G3

Sump area lite by 5 ft T5 , 6 * SSC 3 watt red LED for refugium

1 Full spectrum E27 led light

1 CR control by bubble count

Start No Water Change since 1st Dec 2016

Add new 2.5x2x 1.5 ft

how do u cut Acrylic for such thickness? Can I use the simple Acrylic cutter available in typical hardware shops or I have to saw them?

Yes you can but tedious and time consume especially those more 5mm thickness acrylic sheet.

Still learner now..bro. but will be expert soon because my wife come out many ideas of using acrylic to make home use products after brought her to DAMA... :wacko: !

Hi, i thought Dama can help you cut also some dimensions. But have to pay right a fee right..

Yes they do customize to your required size with some charge per piece.

For me, I customized 5 pieces for crucial use like the sump's wall and base and another 1 big piece to save some cost :D . This big piece was then self cut into a few pieces (some L shaped) by using simple acrylic cutter to form the baffles for the sump use :eyebrow: .
