Copper + Qurantine Tank

Hi,

will like to find out more about using copper in Qua tank?

I had set up the Qua tank a month ago, currently there are two tangs and one star first.

Can i add copper while the star fish is inside the tank?

I am afraid that the star fish might speard the inch (Presume it got from the power blue tang) to my stable clown fishes.

Hope to get some advise from you guys.

No! you cant add copper with starfish.

It will kill the starfish.

Unless you observe something happen to your new fish, actually it is not advisable to use copper in your QT tank , since the newly bought fish will be weak and dosing copper will stress it further causing it not to eat ect..

Copper is not invert safe except for fishes at a controlled dosage.
