Boat Specifications

Builder: Boston Whaler, USA

Vessel type: Walk-around, self bailing deck

LOA: 28ft

Year: 1992

Engine: Volvo Penta 200hp with Duo Prop out drive

Fuel type: Diesel

Head: Build-in toilet with electric head (macerator is currently not working. Will provide a replacement for buyer is needed)

Sleeping capacity: 2

Fuel capacity: approx 500 liters

Fresh water: approx 50 liters

Fresh water system: Yes, auto

Electrical: 12v with dual marine batteries (new alternator! replaced in Dec 2012)

Windless: Yes, electric 1000w

Anchor: Bruce type 7.5kg with approx 25ft chain and 150m rope in good condition

General Description:

Famous 'unsinkable' Boston Whaler hull will handle any coastal weather and sea condition you are likely to face. A pocket battle wagon, for the serious angler.

Walk-around design very safe when moving around boat during fishing or anchoring. Boat is extremely easy to handle. Cabin sleeps 2, has a toilet (flush not working but cleaned, excellent if you have lady guest on board) and small galley with sink. We seldom use the toilet as the sea is a easier and comfortable option.

The boat will accommodate up to 6 anglers (4 behind and 2 in front). Reasonably low gunwale just the right height for those spinning tackle fan. Large bow area for casting and luring enthusiast! Full cockpit combing and 2 in-deck fishbox for storage. Lighted live well will keeps your baits alive for days! Also have a bait prep area with sink and fresh running water.

Go fishing without having to worry about expensive petrol cost!! Diesel engine is reliable and extremely economical. If you run mainly around Sg waters, you will sometimes forget the boat needs fuel! A typical trip to Horsburg lighthouse will take around 100 liters (approx $100, a similar petrol driven boat will easily cost you in access of $400!!).

Cruising trip with family and friends are excellent too. Plenty of seating area, a huge swimming platform with integrated swimming ladder makes a day trip to the islands a truly enjoyable experience. Sun pad at bow, excellent for sun lovers looking for that perfect tan.

Full suit of Raymarine navigation equipment enables you to navigate safely at night, in poor weather and under limited visibility. The Raymarine 25w VHF with DSC will keep u in contact even when out of cell phone range.

Engine is maintained every 6 months and New vee belts.

Boat is currently 'turn-key' and can be viewed at Marina Country Club (Ponggol).
