Strange encounter on my part...

Used to have a few false percula clownfish but slowly perished till there is only 1 left. All other fishes - wrasses, tangs, goby, damsels alive and with me...

At some points, felt the solo clownfish too lonely so added a couple but they always perished...leaving the solo one lonely again...over the years tried 2 - 3 times - same result...odd...because they went through the same drip accilimation as the other fishes I added...all ok except clownfishes...

sigh...cursed...

Yes i too find it odd when i first started reefing.. after sometime i find that having only 2 clownfish at a time makes the fish thrive.. Need to be same species tho..

1st attempt - 5 common perc (all perish)

2nd attempt - 3 true perc (all perish)

3rd attempt - 2 true perc + anemone hosting (been alive for 4 months now)

I secretly feel that the solo clownfish is cursing all the newcomers...lol...for some reasons it wants to be alone...

oh btw, the solo clownfish never attack the newcomers...it just cursed them to death...

Mine worst. Mine didnt curse..mine teach them how to jump -.-"

I got a pair then 1 jump managed to save it. Then the 2nd one monkey see monkey do. Didnt managed to save that one....Should have covered up my tank...
