SRC Member oceanviper Posted November 16, 2016 Author SRC Member Share Posted November 16, 2016 After migration to the new tank with NSW plus using existing rocks, the parameter swing a lot plus major reduction in the bacteria. Seeing diatoms but not as much as typical new cycling tank process. Constantly dosing bacteria to replenish the die off...now seeing the corals PE and also pulsing xenia that survived has started to stay floating. Some xenia which felt off from the rocks also encrusted on the acrylic base. Will DIY another set of LED lighting for this configuration. I only get the material from local shops and use my home power tools to cut etc. Is difficult for me to post any video as I'm not a full time DIY, just doing it for own appreciation. I don't mind share my experience...just pm me and we can discuss rather than giving pointers....as I'm still learning here.
