Salt mix

Hi all,i have a pro with my salt mix.Each water change i only need a tub or salt to achieve the salinity but yesterday i ended up needing 2 tub,Any bros knows the reason behind it??Nth wrong with my refractrometer as i have tested and its working fine.

Check your salt batch lot number. If they are similar batch as the ones you used previously. My advise would be verify your curret refracrometer with another.i got a feel is your equipmet error

Best to get a retrometer with a cheap plastic hydro meter..

its the same salt from the big pail i bought.Normally is 1tub yesterday ended up with 2.I have test the refractrometer with tap water and also with my current tank water result is ok though.

Salt brand the same? Don't think it's a major issue other than the cost involved. Maybe change the brand to something that uses less? That what I did.
