LPS For IOS tank

Will like to check which LPS is suitable for an IOS 2 feet tank?

My view.

Most Lps corals can be kept in IOS tank. just need to know the appropriate water movement and placement on the type of species .

power head can help to achieve the right water movement.

You can start with moon coral and some open brains first.You need to a reasonable lighting. 2 feet tank should not be constrain from what i see. Are u adding skimmer ?

Get a MP10 and u get loads of fun. I had it for my 2 feet and also using a maxspact razor 120w for my lighting. I am keeping lps, sps and zoas.You can pm me for picture setup

If u keeping long tentacles lps such as torch, frogspawn, hammer & anchor, u need to make sure there are enough space between the corals esp if there are short tentacles ones like open brain around it so that they dun sting each other. Have fun placing your corals & happy reefing.

Yup. Adding Skimmer.

But it will be an IOS tank.

You can use a mce600 or mce300. Avoid Red sea prizm skimmer as the skimmer may not be sufficent should you decide to go SPS

You can try to get Skims SH1 or SH2. good skimmer!!

Agreed that skimp sh2 is a gd skimmer, currently using it.
