SRC Member ivanlim Posted November 27, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted November 27, 2012 if u r keeping lps, plate, do place them further down the stream as i heard that strong light might bleach them.
Freereef
Thanks Sherman viperR & inwear! I not so sure which of my coral is sps or lps. lps is more stoney that what i understand. If you guys got any good website for me to read up will be great with image also. haha Normally what I do is just observe the coral carefully. if any changes in color & tentacle then I will change their location. RushAct
hi bro, Try googling "lps coral" and "sps coral" if you dont like to read, click on the images, more or less you will be able ID what you have. you also can post a picture here so fellow reefers can help you with it. yes, i think 160w for 1.5 is too much light but if im not wrong you can adjust it ?
