White precipiates in tank

Hi bros,

Need advice here

Recently I am starting to see more and more of these white precipiates like tiny white spots forming on my aquarium. If I tried to remove them, can feel that it is like hard and some can be hard to remove.

Getting more of them today, and starts to 'grow' outside my skimmer, etc.

Is it due to too high calcium? But I never dose calcium since I am keeping softies...

tat i think are the living organisms. not calcium precipitates. i think one of it in yr pic got some tentacles .

My observation is that:

1. They dont move - as far as I see.

2. Hard as if you are touching stone surface.

3. Stick firmly to the glass and I need to use force to scrub them off...

Just realised that they are on my rocks too

my whole tank was infested with them when I first started out. Don't worry, they will go away soon enough.

I have them too, they look like snails to me cos it looks like a swirl after a close up look at them. I use to scrap them of with a metal scraper. Recently they seem to be lesser, wonder if my fishes ate them...
