What fish to avoid for sps

Hi,

I have just purchased a bird nest sps to add into the rest of the lps. On the next day , I realize some part of the sps was gone. It seen to be bitten off by something.

I have the below Fishes. Please help me to identify the possible culprit .

Blue Tang, yellow tang, clown, wrasses, flame angle.

What wrasse are u keeping? I don't think is any of your fish that eat the coral. Most likely is the coral stn.

But it's only one part that are gone. It's like part of the cheese been eaten by rats

Flame angel might nip on sps if the sps is not healthy. But it should not be overnight like a cheese bite.

That mean we can rule out the fishes. What should be the next I should check. Tks

Ya agreed, yesterday I also caught one small crab *pest* in acropora which was found bitten off

Its really hard to pinpoint is its crabs or not leh... Many a times buy a colony of sps and find a commensal crab inside oso leh...

I remove any crab that is hairy. Most cleaning crab that I came across have smooth surface body

That's quite true... Hairy or if too big just pick them off safe bet...

Oh no. I have two hairy crab. How I remove them ? It should be challenging task.

I think take out the rock its hiding in fresh water deep see if it comes out? Not an expert w pest elimination...

I was lucky... One night I came out and on the light and saw it and it's hiding spot so I just kept camping there and monitoring and one day out of the blue it was hanging outside its hole and I just picked it our w my tweezer...
