Hi All,

Well i guess i am too free during work hours (haha) so i have come up with a sketch of what could possibly, happen in a mth or two? ( i still contemplating in getting a second hand tank, if the right one comes along the way).

Anyway, i hope you can spend a min or two, scan and give me your most valuable opinion. Of cos, there are so many factors to consider, just throw whatever setback that this setup could have. Open for discussion!

hey bro, just a thought starter, i have been reading up on RC beananimal's "coast to coast" overflow system. This system focus on removing only the topmost water surface area; it is believed that the water surface attracts a lot of organics and thus promotes better skimming/filtration.

I have been contemplating to set up one.

Thank you reaper for starting this thread, I'm keen on upgrading my 1 ft nano to a larger tank like yours. Beginning to realise the complexities.

didn't see how tall the sump tank would be but just make sure there's enough room for equipment.

also, access to the sump tank would be from both sides? (i understand the front side has no access)

also, the equipment placed in the return area, do they need a constant water level? cause return chambers usually fluctuate if you don't have a good auto-top up installed.

Not going to use auto top up for now. Like my previous tank, I used to topping up water every nw n then ... Haha
