Live Rocks encrusted with purple/red coraline

Will be collecting LR encrusted with coraline but, I haven't been able to get the sand yet.

Intend to place the LR in the tank for the time being.Canister and skimmer have alraedy been already running for a week ...testing.

Preparing saltwater tonight and will let it sit before putting LR in.

If I leave the LR in the tank till I get the sand, is there anything I should be mindful of?

Secondly would I still need to cure the LR again when I cycle the tank, which I intend to when I get the sand.

Just keep an eye on the LR and catch out any pests.

Once you cycle your tank with the LR in there... what's there to cure again?

You just need to give your sandbed time for bacteria colonisation before you introduce livestock.
