Hi all,just went to coral farm and notice they have 3 small black tip reef shark just ask can we keep this shark temporally in a 6ft tank the shark is about 1 1/2 to 2ft long thank

What is the width of your tank? I feel it need at least a 2.5ft width for it to swim around . Shark are messy eater and also need enough room for it to swim around.

My tank size is 6ft by 2ft by 2ft I am planning to upgrade in to a 12 or 13 ft tank

It is too small for it... You need a very long width for it to swim and turn, they are constant swimming to get their oxygen... They need more width then length,, Even if you have a 12ft but only 2ft width, it is still not possible..
