How to Clean Filter Socks

How do you guys clean your filter socks?

I usually just rinse the filter sock with a water pressure spray (those normally in toilets), after that i wash it in a bucket of ro/di water and leave it to dry. When i want to use it, i will wash it again in RO/DI water before setting it up. Kind of kiasu if u can see my steps.. haha.

Some people use washing machine or bleach.

Washing Machine: I'm too afraid to use washing machine since maybe some detergent might still be in there.

Bleaching: Too afraid to use bleach on all my aquarium stuff.

So what do u guys do to clean ur filter sock?

Bleach and wash with seachem prime

Spray with pressure spray hose like those in toilet> soak in bleach few days> spray again and air dry. Be clean n white.

same here, I bleach it for a few days then sun dry it before using.
