I think I killed my tubeworm!

Was doing some rescaping and wanted to relocate my tubeworm. However it had already started to attach itself to the LR.

I tried to separate the tube from the LR by giving it a light thug when the tube came off, exposing the 'naked' tubeworm!

Any chances of survival for the worm?

Any advice what I should do, will the worm build a new tube back or will a new worm grow out from the empty tube??
