From irawana. . Theres this big plastic blue tank of "low" class corals.. the worm is now hanging itself in the current extending its tentacles. . I guess its a tube worm with a tube?

It is a species of Synaptula sp.. Most likely Synaptula lamperti.. Also known as Sponge Sea Cucumber.. Is a filter feeder...

They are symbiotic to sponges, not much is know as in what they eat in the wild, Mostly feeding at night and said to be detrivore too and eats the micro organism on the sponges..

Think ur sponge color is fading away. Its is quite difficult to keep sponge coral imo.

Actually the sponge is already dying.. There is not many species of sponges that even full NPS tank with daily dosing can keep alive, it is more than the food that matters...

pest aptasia or called pest anemone

Cut off that strand of algae with the aiptasia and throw away. Don't try to remove/pluck/cut the aiptasia directly, may cause it to spread.

Actually it is curious to know if anyone ever successfully keep sponges in their aquarium. I tried blue sponges and orange ball before...simply hard to keep them alive even if I target feed every alternative day

The only sponge is the yellow cork sponge that is easy to keep in tank... The others are still difficult.. Like i said, it is not only the food that matters.. There are other factors in play, the bacteria level, nutrient level, transportation and handling of the sponge, flow level...
