Storing chiller for later use

Hi folks,

Just wondering if any kind souls can advice how best to store a used chiller for future use...

Im starting to acquire equipments for my new tank and procured a 1 week old used chiller from a nice bro here.

As it was previously used, there is salt water inside, should i flush out the water? If so how should i clear all the water? (meaning even if i flush w non saltwater there shld still be water left inside right?)

I was previously adviced to leave the water inside but not sure if my memory still stand true...

I intend to use in within the next month.

My view. Just used tap water to flash through the chiller. There should not be any problem even if some tap water are left in the chiller.

the heat exchanger where water flows is normally from titanium. It will not become rusty.

I think, we should be more concern on the controller (should keep it in drier room).
